Another advantage of being 'on-site'

A Tutor approached me as a 2nd yr class had finished the prescribed work for their session, and wanted to look at material for the following week’s work. This involved them looking at a Chapter from an EBook, and they could not find this EBook on the University Library website. I was able to locate the EBook for them (they followed my search on a large wall monitor). This is an illustration of how being available 'on-site' was useful with regard to independent learning, i.e., I was able to locate this resource for the students, who were using their initiative to get into studying material early. (I also added instructions to Blackboard).
