Assisted as a Marshall on Mon. 20th & Tues. 21st Oct. for the 2nd-year OSCE (Observed Structured Clinical Exam) - found some unexpected outcomes:
o Was approached by one of the examiners (a senior member of the medical faculty) who discussed with me how he sees the
Hunter Cen. Librarian role developing - in particular my having strategic input into programme development for Year-2s
o Another member of the teaching faculty had an informal discussion with me regarding teaching specialities of teaching staff,
and the impact on teaching generic course material
o The media administrator of the Year-2 course asked my professional opinion regarding a video posted on YouTube by two
Year-2 students titled "World's Worst Medical Interview" - was able to
highlight the copyright, and ethical, issues
