Getting student buy-in, as mentioned in previous blogs, has proven to be a 'work-in-progress'. A positive illustration of this 'work-in-progress' occurred last week. The first ever student who I worked with has always been quiet when she saw me, and did not engage with me - last week I entered the Centre, she waved out to me and called me over. She then introduced me to her fellow student, and they both had a lively discussion with me.
This encounter lends weight to the assumption that it takes time to get known by students
